We work to develop and complement healthcare through various healthcare development projects in collaboration with pharmacies, healthcare providers and the pharmaceutical industry. The assignments focus on patient benefit, healthcare development and the achievement of treatment goals.
Care development program
The goal of Adxto's care development programs is to create benefits to all care stakeholders involved. Our care development programs are designed according to LER guidelines. Our nurses are involved in care projects in hospitals, pharmacies and patients' homes. Adxto also has its own nursing clinic centrally located in Stockholm. Our team of nurses has the capacity to cater to different solutions, treatments and patient needs across the country.
For the patient, the aim is to optimize the management of their disease through increased self-awareness, help with treatment, motivation and adherence.
For physicians and payers, the goal is to help quickly establish current guidelines to optimize treatment outcomes and cost-effective disease management.
For the sponsors of the healthcare development programme, the goal is to simplify product availability, optimize use immediately and over time, through credible partnerships with healthcare.
The patient's digital platform
Support programs ensure that the patient can confidently follow their prescribed treatment in daily life. The digital platform allows patients to receive additional training, reminders and follow-up in a simple automated way between regular visits to the healthcare provider.
Patient support
Since 2007, Adxto has developed and implemented over 50 patient support programs to support patients in the Nordics and Asia to improve patient adherence to treatment. To achieve adherence, it is important that patient support programs are designed as a combination of education, motivation and support. Our nurses currently work with patient support using a proprietary, digital patient support platform where each program is unique in terms of choice of activities, method (digital and/or personal follow-up by nurse) and duration. Our platform is developed to be able to tailor a suitable program for our customers' products and patients.
Patient support platform
The Patient Support Platform is a digital cloud-based platform that securely and efficiently manages various patient support programs. The platform is built to be vendor independent and can be customized according to the graphic and technical profile that you as a customer have. We offer tailor-made patient support programs with both breadth and excellence to help your patients achieve their specific treatment goals.
The support programs are free of charge for the patient. The aim is to ensure that treatment is properly continued over time so that patients receive the care they need. The platform enables valuable interaction and information with and about the patients, as well as how the medicine works.
The purpose of patient support
Studies show that only 30-50% comply with prescribed treatment. Often this is due to a conscious or unconscious act. A conscious act can be, for example, denial of the disease or low trust in the treatment. Unconsciously, it can be ignorance, misunderstanding, forgetfulness or decreased motivation over time. The aim of patient support is to help patients achieve their treatment goals through education, support and motivation over time.
Health clinic
Adxto operates a clinic centrally located near Hötorget in Stockholm. At the clinic, patients are treated with drug infusions according to their doctor's prescription. Through collaborative projects, patients have access to drug treatment at Adxto's clinic, while healthcare professionals are relieved of the burden of administering infusion therapy after a treatment decision has been made. As a result of our infusion projects, Adxto has performed the most biological infusions in the country as a private infusion center.
In addition to the infusion clinic, we also carry out medical checks, issue certificates of fitness for service, spirometry examinations, sampling and health tests.
